A)     Objectives for 2007

The committee is seeking information on a trauma coordinators course being offered. Two different course names have been brought up, so the committee is looking for possibilities to offer for 2007. They are looking to develop a short presentation on DVD for each emergency service to let others know what SERTAC is about to get everyone involved.

B)      List of Speakers

The committee is looking for one person from each of the 9 counties to act as a contact person, or an expert in that field. A list of topics, or current information could be developed free of charge for others to obtain.

C)      Patient Tracking/Triage

The committee discussed the possibility that hospitals would assign a specific number on a tag attached to the patient. Each hospital would have its own number, as well as each service would have a designated number. All of the tags would have a provider number on it to be identified by. Another possibility would be to assign a specific number for a disaster that would follow the patient’s tag. Any other ideas for patient tracking should be emailed to Robert.
