                                            B. There is a possibility that the WARDS will be able to integrate with other systems

( EMT licensing, Trauma Registry, WI Trac,)

                                            C. Currently 20 % of the State of Wisconsin is entering data into WARDS. January 1, 2008 is the compliance deadline, currently

5. RTAC Coordinator Announcements:     Presented by Robert Ramerez                                                                                                                3:49-3:55

        A) Communication with State Committees:    Robert has requested to be put on the mailing list for agendas and minutes  and he will begin compiling all

of the information from the EMS/ Trauma State Meetings. There has  been a trend  developing of info

being lost and lack of knowledge of which committee is working on what initiative. There are various

meeting that go on at the same time and everyone can not attend all the meetings.  The plan is to compile

all of the committee’s minutes so the SERTAC will be able to share the current information coming out of

                                                                               these meetings.

        B) Regional Trauma Plan:      Robert has started inserting the data for the SERTAC’s Regional Trauma Plan onto a template. Our deadline for this

objective is July 31, 2007, which will allow us to continue to develop the plan for another 4-5 months. We are currently

doing very well with the objectives and we are well ahead of schedule.  The Regional Trauma Plan is about 60% complete,

we have completed the site review workshop objective and we have the dates for the Registry Training objective.

        C) New Objectives:    Marianne Peck has requested that all of the RTAC’s bring 3 new objective ideas to the next RTAC Coordinators meeting for

discussion of the 2008 grant year. Marianne has suggested one of the objectives should be focused at the Trauma Registry. We

will discuss ideas for new objectives through the subcommittees and by the end of the March meeting Robert is requesting each

                                           subcommittee have two objective ideas.

        D) Workgroups:     We are trying something new with incorporating workgroups into other meetings through the SERTAC subcommittees. Robert is

very thankful to everyone for their help and support in all of the various topics and the state trauma plan. Robert has stated we are

really moving forward and the more we work together the more we will be able to accomplish.

        E) Disaster Trailer inventory:     Gloria Murawsky would appreciate any input EMS services have for the MCI trailer inventory list. The EMS Disaster

Board and Dr. Keith Wesley have come up with a list and would like to have input from the EMS services. The

deadline for changes is March 10th.
