Announcements
from the Chair (Andrea Winthrop) a)
December meeting poll- will be having Trauma
Coordinator workshop in December. No
assignments due in December, recommend not holding the meeting due to possible
poor attendance. Meeting in November
will be the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
No meeting in December, voted and approved b) Survey results meeting sites most
people want the meeting to follow HRSA and in favor of a fixed meeting site. HRSA
has arranged to meet at Woodland Prime.
Request for fixed site to be in c) Trend / data from registry d)
Site reviews to start in Jan. Three
reviews/month until all hospitals are reviewed. Some discussion that surveys may not start
in January due to problems with media involved in site review. Next STAC meeting in 2 weeks, will discuss
further. e)
ATLS - Froedtert 12/7 & 12/8 Medical Oversight will decide how the
registration will take place. Check
will be held by the Treasurer until the physician takes and completes the
course, then reimbursement from RTAC.
First course 16 students. Next
course in February. 32 physicians
budgeted to pay for during this fiscal year.
Registration forms can be downloaded from organization. Executive Council Meeting Report by Andrea Winthrop M.D. a) Executive
council updates: The SERTAC has
not met since June, there will be a lot of information at todays and future
meetings. b) Bylaws
version of bylaws sent on Friday, the Executive Council would like Advisory
Council to vote on. c) Budget- Closing
out 2006 grant year budget. Financial
standpoint in good shape, carry out all educational offerings from last
fiscal year. 2007 We have additional
money from past grant year to carry over. b) Changing of
SERTAC Chair Dr. Andrea Winthrop has fulfilled the two
year term as Chair. Dr. Steve Andrews will officially take over as the SERTAC
Chair after new Vice Chair elected.
Vice Chair is open will solicit nominations from the RTAC
membership. The new Vice Chair will
become a member of the Executive Council, also stay on as post Chair council

Education for Pre-hospital Professionals.
BLS or first responders attend the first course. BLS 1 day $160, ALS $320 covers course,

coordinators workshop a) Last meeting, went over level 3 & 4
site review criteria. Discussed documents and the use of the website to send
documents. Trauma registry workshops
need to hold 2 more, will combine with another RTAC to hold workshops. Debi
Peters was present at the Workshop and will attend the Registry Workshops.
There currently is money allocated in budget for the workshops. b) St. Josephs
