      a.   How much money is currently in the account?

      b.   Will the fiscal agent be taking a fee?  How much?

      c.   Amy McCray has submitted her resignation effective Nov. 30th, however may stay on into December to help out.  The RTAC Coordinator position was previously established as a .5 FTE position.  Moving forward, this would become a 1.0 FTE position.  Confirmation from Froedtert to allow this change is necessary.

STAC - Report by Marianne Peck

A. PI  Language Legislation

PI language has been sent for comments.  Sen. Brown will introduce to the legislature very soon.

B. CAP Legislation

Consideration is being given to lifting litigation award caps.  This could have devastating effects resulting in a significant reduction in trauma physicians willing to provide trauma care services.

RTAC Coordinators Meeting - Report by Amy McCray

A. CALS (Comprehensive Advanced Life support) was discussed.  It is a team and clinical based course and would be in addition to the current ALS requirement.  For Level IV’s, CALS or RTTDC would be acceptable.

Amy will send out electronic version for comments.

HRSA Region 7 input will be requested.

8.   New Discussion Items

A. None

9.   Hospital / Pre-Hospital Open Discussion

A.     Education

Ron inquired as to preferences for education for hospital personnel.  Members agreed that trauma coordinators and trauma registrars are expected to be the same person.  It was concluded that education should concentrate on registry training because trauma coordinators lack this specific training.
